Summer School is Coming

DementiaCare Project

Florence, Italy – The University of Florence has announced that it will be implementing the Summer School of DementiaCare project from July 3-7, 2023. The program aims to provide training and education to healthcare professionals and caregivers on how to better care for individuals living with dementia.

Dementia is a neurological disorder that affects millions of people around the world, and caring for those with dementia can be a challenging task. The Summer School of DementiaCare project is designed to equip healthcare professionals and caregivers with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality care for individuals with dementia.

During the five-day program, participants will attend lectures, workshops, and practical sessions on various topics related to dementia care. These will include topics such as the latest advances in dementia research, communication strategies, and techniques for managing challenging behaviors.
